A leading healthcare system in South Carolina is currently seeking an experienced CRNA / Cardiac CRNA to join their anesthesia team in Florence. This opportunity offers a mix of cardiac, vascular, and general cases in a collaborative environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: 8, 10, or 12 hours as scheduled
- On-Call: Minimal cardiac call; flexible block scheduling considered
- Start Date: January 2026
- Location: Florence, SC (with potential cross-coverage in Columbia)
- Travel Support: Lodging stipend + mileage/car rental; MUSC-approved hotels provided
Responsibilities:
The CRNA will be responsible for:
- Providing anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and general cases
- Performing regional blocks, SAB, LE, and central line support
- Collaborating with supervising MDAs and working within a medical supervision model
- Completing EPIC training and hospital modules (paid)
- Supporting a safe, high-quality patient care environment
Qualifications:
- Current and active South Carolina CRNA license (required)
- Cardiac/open-heart anesthesia experience (required)
- ACLS/BLS (AHA)
- Flexibility with shifts and cross-credentialing needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
- Comfort with ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (USGRA)
- Ability to adapt to multiple OR settings
