The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated food service supervisor to our Healthcare Foodservice team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a food service supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly oversee the production and service of meals.
Shifts will consist of 5 am - 1PM and 12 Noon - 8 pm
What you'll be doing:
- Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations.
- Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- Minimum 1 year experience supervising in healthcare dietary department required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.
- Experience supervising 15 or more employees.
- Experience in Excel, Word, and scheduling.
- Weekend availability is a must
Nice-to-haves:
- An advanced degree in culinary arts or a related field.
- Food Handler’s certification.

Compensation Range
- Pay rate starts at $23.00 per hour
