Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required
• Float to ICU and Med Surg as needed
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• MS/Tele and Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Charting system experience with Cerner required
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, tracheostomies, IV drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Pre-approved time off available (maximum 7 days per 13-week contract)
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Two supervisor references required

This healthcare organization operates a 12-bed Intermediate Care Unit with a daily census of 9 patients, providing specialized care for patients requiring monitoring between general medical floors and intensive care. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams.
