- Shift Details:
- 24 hours/day physician coverage
- 8 hours/day APC coverage
- 12-hour shifts standard
- Moderate volume with opportunity for individualized patient care
- Licenses/Certs:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in EM
- Will consider IM/FM with emergency medicine experience
- Active Pennsylvania license
- DEA license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS preferred
- Procedures/Scope:
- Low- to moderate-volume rural ED ( 12,000 annual visits)
- 16-bed ED in a 67-bed general hospital
- Must be confident in rural emergency medicine practice and patient management
- Experience:
- EM residency-trained preferred
- IM/FM candidates must have proven ED experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small hospital setting
