Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho Spine travel assignment on night shifts in Kansas, requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical/Surgical Services unit with an orthopedic spine focus
• Hospital inpatient setting with Med/Surg and Ortho Spine patient populations
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, and orthopedic spine needs
• Must complete all required documentation and credentials prior to assignment start date
• Scrub or dress code requirements were not specified
• First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Ortho Spine nursing experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required with expiration dates beyond the first 30 days of assignment
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
