PCU Float Nurse
Location
This position is located in Midwood, NC.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
This position involves a NOC shift of 11.5 hours, with a 3:1 patient ratio. The nurse will float to medical-surgical units as needed and must be available for holidays and weekends, starting on January 8th.
Job Description
The PCU Float Nurse will provide essential care to patients requiring progressive care services. This role includes a variety of responsibilities and the nurse will be required to adapt to different medical-surgical environments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient conditions and provide necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Float to different medical-surgical units as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Candidates must have an active nursing license and previous experience in a progressive care or medical-surgical unit.
