Requirements THERE IS A SCHUYLKILL OB/GYN HOSPITALIST WEEKEND COVERAGE AT SCHUYLKILL Certifications required: MD/DO board certified ingeneral obstetrics/gynecology PA medical license Description of required duties: Inpatient obstetricstriage labor management vaginal and Cesarean birth postpartumsterilization postpartum care and gynecology emergency department and floorconsults acute surgical care possibly scheduled DampE for miscarriage Procedures required: obstetrics including triageevaluation point of care limited obstetric ultrasound induction of laborvaginal birth laceration repair OVD hemorrhage management Cesarean birthpostpartum sterilization postplacental IUD placement Nexplanon insertiongynecology including first trimester DampE surgical management of ectopicpregnancy torsion other gyn emergencies Supporting staff: nursing technical andperioperative supportImmediately available anesthesia servicesLevel 1 nursery with immediately available pediatric support Call: Friday 5pm through Monday 7am Volume: approximately 600 births annually Hospital: 700 East Norwegian StreetPottsville PA 17901 Assignment Length: undetermined length of time
