In this role, theFamily / Internal Medicine Physician willbe responsible for providingcomprehensivemedical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex, or type of problem, on a continuing basis.

- Examinepatient to ascertain presence of disease and to establish preventive health practices
- Elicitand recordinformation about patients medical history
- Orderor executevarious tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patients condition
- Analyzereports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patient
- Administeror prescribes treatments and medications
- Promotehealth by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of diseases
- Determineneed for modified diet and physical activities, and recommends plan
- Inoculateand vaccinatepatients to immunize patients from communicable diseases
- Performsurgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency
- Referpatient to other medical specialists for consultant services when necessary for patients well-being
- Oversee, review, supervise, and actin preceptor role to family practice residents
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
- Board Eligible / Certified in a Family and/or Internal Medicine
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
