Our client, a subsidiary of a major international heavy equipment manufacturer, is seeking CNC Machine Operators to join their operations team. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery with proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls, and routine maintenance.
- Perform deburring and surface protection on workpieces.
- Take precise measurements and conduct evaluations to ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to production, downtime, and quality.
- Assist with fixture setup and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of recent machine operation experience, preferably in metal cutting or fabrication.
- Ability to measure accurately using various tools and perform basic shop math.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC operating requirements and cutting tools.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with team members and engineers.
- Understanding of manufacturing standards, procedures, and safety policies.
