Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position with floating requirements and night shift hours.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Resource Pool, floating to all Med/Surg units as needed
- May be required to float to another location approximately 9.5 miles away
- Patient population includes adult Med/Surg patients
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- First time travelers will be considered for this position
- RNs must be comfortable floating between multiple Med/Surg units and locations
- Must work assigned weekends and holidays as part of the rotation
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- Scrub requirements or dress code to be provided by facility at onboarding
Requirements
- Active IA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended for CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- Recent license or certificate verification documentation
