Exciting Opportunity for an OB/GYN Laborist Physician in Davenport, Iowa
Join a collaborative and established team at a leading healthcare facility in Davenport, Iowa, dedicated to providing comprehensive inpatient OB & GYN care. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside community health clinics and midwives within a high-volume and supportive environment, managing approximately 80 deliveries monthly. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital support for OB & GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting.
- Deliver collaborative care alongside a community health care partner and midwives.
- Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly.
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed.
- Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients.
- Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients.
- Participate in a collaborative care model enhancing patient safety.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives.
- No separate doc call expected; full-time dedicated hospitalist role.
- Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- IA license (or willing to obtain).
- Must be Board certified or Board eligible in the US.
- Clean malpractice preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in OB/GYN is required.
- IA state license (or willingness to obtain) is required.
- Support for H1B and J1 visas is available for qualifying candidates.
