Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
• TNCC certification
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system
• Mandatory attendance for all orientation days

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care for trauma, acute illness, and behavioral health patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Utilize EPIC charting for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in the Emergency Department
• Participate in a supportive, team-oriented healthcare environment with opportunities for professional development
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
