- Start Date: December 29, 2025
- End Date: May 4, 2026
- Contract Duration: 18 weeks
- Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470
- Unit Details: 11 Labor & Delivery rooms, 2 C-section suites, 17 postpartum beds
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including postpartum care
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, or NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients and circulating in C-sections
- Proficient in titrating drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin preferred)
- Epic charting experience preferred
- First-time travel nurses welcome (Critical Access Hospital-only experience not accepted)
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
- Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed
- Circulate and assist in C-section deliveries
- Monitor and titrate medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
- Collaborate with OBs, Neonatologists, CRNAs, and clinical support staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in triage, patient assessments, and documentation using Epic EMR
- Promote a positive patient experience and maintain AWHONN staffing guidelines
- May float to other units for sitter shifts as needed
