American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR Tech experience and requirements for ARRT, BLS, and EPIC proficiency.
Responsibilities- Work in an Interventional Radiology department serving adult patients
- Procedures include angiograms, venograms, PICC, Port a Cath, vertebroplasty, GI bleed interventions, embolization, biliary tube exchange, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, trans jugular biopsy, IVC filter removal, and thrombectomy for neuro cases
- Equipment used includes EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with one call day per week and additional scheduled call days every 60 days
- Weekend call rotation every seven to eight weeks, covering Friday night to Monday morning
- Potential to float between Florence, Edgewood, and Fort Thomas locations based on departmental needs
- Uses EPIC EMR with prior experience required
- First time travelers will be considered for this position
- Must be able to float to multiple campuses as needed
- Return staff must have a gap of at least one year from previous full, part-time, or per diem employment to be considered as a traveler
- Scrubs or apparel must not display agency or brand logos
- No cafeteria available, but refrigerator and microwave are provided on-site
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Expected to work some holidays and adhere to RTO approval processes
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience required
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
- KY LIC (KBMIRT) required; may be pending at time of consideration
- EPIC charting experience required
- TRAVEL experience highly preferred
- Valid KY or compact license required for consideration
- COVID-19 (medical/religious exemptions only) and Flu vaccination required
- Must comply with dress and appearance policies regarding tattoos, piercings, and nails
