As a Security Officer - Secret Clearance Required in Melbourne, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the aerospace and defense environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location to help to deter prohibited actions and maintain order.
• Document and report any unusual occurrences, incidents, or suspicious behavior according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
