We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician to provide top-tier healthcare for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The Pediatrician plays a vital role in monitoring health, development, and treating common conditions, while collaborating closely with nurse practitioners and physician assistants under Federal program guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional outpatient and in-hospital medical care, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of common childhood illnesses and minor injuries. Maintain comprehensive patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, physical findings, assessments, and treatment plans. Communicate effectively with patients' guardians regarding health, nutritional, and fitness needs. Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care within a community-based, patient-centered medical home model. Consult with the Medical Director on complex diagnostic or management cases and recommend referrals to specialists as needed. Prescribe necessary medications and support the nursing staff in policy and procedure implementation. Mentor medical students and assist in training programs for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited medical school with an extensive knowledge of pediatric medicine. Current license to practice medicine in California, a valid DEA Certificate, and CPR certification. Compliance with all HIPAA and corporate integrity regulations is mandatory. Additional Information: Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as required. Be prepared to rotate between various health clinics as needed.
