Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• On-call requirement: 1 24-hour call per month on weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
• Possible holiday coverage required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be able to circulate all services including: CT, Vascular, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Colorectal, Robotics, and Bariatric
• Scrubbing Cardiac/Vascular cases experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified)
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Charting system: EPIC
• Treat adult patients only
• Unit has 10 rooms with approximately 28 visits per day
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skills include: Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, IABP, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, TAVR, Ventricular Assist Device, and circulation duties
• South Carolina RN license required (candidates with pending licenses considered with proof of application)
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments (June-November)
• Pre-approved time off limited and must be submitted at time of application

This is a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching facility with 820 staffed beds. The facility offers comprehensive cardiovascular and surgical services with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries to ensure optimal patient care and staff support.
