Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry/Education Unit night shift, requiring an active AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work on the Medical Telemetry/Education Unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- 13-week travel assignment
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed if made up during the assignment
- Shift scheduling may allow for blocks based on unit needs
- Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible with specific contract limitations
- Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before a one-year separation is required
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent specialty experience in medical telemetry
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is documented
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN is not accepted
