Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia care in a community hospital setting in North Carolina. Responsibilities include administering general anesthesia across multiple operating rooms, supporting procedures such as adult general, spine, orthopedic, vascular, and obstetrics. The role involves rotating call shifts, use of Epic EMR, and working as part of a team with MDs and other CRNAs in a locum tenens contract position.
Position Details CRNA, Locum Tenens:
- Location: North Carolina
- Duration: March June (future dates to be determined)
- Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month
- Shifts: 7a-3p + rotating call
- Call: Yes rotating weeknight and 24-hour weekend call.
- Weeknight call: 2 nd call, avg. 1 in 5 nights (7p-7a), off-site
- Weekend call: Friday 7p-Saturday 7a, Saturday/Sunday 7a-7a
- Patientvolume: 20 cases total in the OR, between 3-4 rooms
- Scope: General Anesthesia, 5 ORs + OB, adult general, spine, OB, ortho, vascular. No heads, hearts or thoracic. Blocks/regional preferred.
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital: 182-bed community hospital, no trauma designation
- Group/support: 3 MDs/3 CRNAs
- Requirements: Board Certified, Active North Carolina license

- Credentialing: estimated maximum of 90 days, TEMPS can be issued for clean background to accommodate an earlier start
