Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and tooling, is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Tooling/Mold Technician to join their team. As a Tooling/Mold Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of injection molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Edinburgh, IN
Pay Range: $49k-$66k
Shift: Second Shift
What's the Job?
- Perform mold changes and ensure mold tools are ready to meet production schedules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on mold tools.
- Recommend changes and enhancements to procedures and equipment to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support team goals.
What's Needed?
- Basic math skills, including knowledge of shop/mechanical mathematics.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
- Ability to comprehend and retain technical verbal and written instructions.
- Understanding and experience with mold tool construction and maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Prior injection mold tool maintenance and assembly experience is advantageous.
- Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 60 lbs and occasionally handle objects over 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a team-oriented mindset.
