Pediatric Ophthalmologist, permanent full-time in Pittsburgh area; hospital, ER consults, staff surgery and outpatient clinics; treats neonates, infants, children and adult motility patients; performs corneal surgery, pediatric cataract surgery and collagen crosslinking. - Completed 3 years residency in Ophthalmology - 1 year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology - 1 year anterior-segment pediatric training including high-frequency and linear ultrasound (not Vector) - Board Certified in Ophthalmology - Valid Pennsylvania medical license
Full description
Seeking a Pediatric Ophthalmologist
-Examine, diagnose, and provide medical and surgical treatment of ocular and visual system disorders in these advanced diseases for neonates, infants and children, and adult motility patients
-Participate in hospital and emergency room consults, staff surgery and outpatient clinical care
-Treat patients with congenital corneal opacities and diseases of the cornea affecting children
-Perform collagen crosslinking for both children and adults with developmental delays and treat patients with pediatric cataracts
Required: Must have completed three years of post-graduate residency training in Ophthalmology, must have completed one year of fellowship training in general Pediatric Ophthalmology, must have completed one year of training dedicated to anterior segment pediatric diseases, including using high frequency and linear ultrasound devices (Not Vector Ultrasound), must be Board Certified in Ophthalmology and must have a valid PA license
