We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an 84-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Feb 1, 2026. This opportunity requires flexibility to work all shift types, with a minimum commitment of seven days per month. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology or have substantial pediatric anesthesia experience, collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care. Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is required. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Feb 1, 2026 LOA: 84 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Anesthesiologist Schedule: All shift types; must be able to work at least 7 days per month. Responsibilities and Duties Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities Provide guidance and support to other healthcare professionals as needed Additional Information Must be licensed to practice in California Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology preferred; significant pediatric anesthesia experience required if not board certified Experience using Epic EMR system required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
