Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for home health with a CT PT license and 2+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their residences
- Typical caseload of approximately 6 patient visits per day
- Work schedule is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation
- Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) EMR is preferred
- Main responsibility is to provide physical therapy assessments and develop plans of care for patients in their homes
- Must have the ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible caseload
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
- Professional attire required while in patient homes
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Current CT PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Home health experience preferred
- Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus
- Two professional references from prior year in current discipline from a manager or higher
