A healthcare facility in central Utah, near Manti, is seeking a Locum Tenens Radiologist to provide temporary coverage. This opportunity offers an engaging role within a dynamic radiology department, and the provider will be integral in supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. Position Details: Location: Near Manti, Utah Coverage Dates: February 10-14, 2025 Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient Electronic Medical Records: MEDHOST and Infinitt PACS Travel and Lodging: Nearest airport is Salt Lake City; recommended lodging options available Role and Responsibilities: Perform and interpret a range of imaging studies, including: X-ray (with fluoroscopy capabilities) Ultrasound MRI (musculoskeletal, neuro, breast) Nuclear Medicine CT Scans Limited interventional procedures are preferred but not required Estimated Daily Patient Load: Approximately 50 exams per shift Additional Practice Specifications: Trauma Level: 4 Support Staff: Available, including 5 RNs and 3 office staff members Board Certification: Board Eligible candidates are welcome; board certification is not required Licensing Requirements: Active Utah medical license preferred, though Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) licensure is also accepted Benefits of the Opportunity: Flexible Scheduling: Scheduled clinical hours only, no call or rounding requirements Credentialing: Expedited credentialing process, typically within 10 days Work Environment: Supportive clinical team and modern equipment, including advanced radiology modalities Competitive Remuneration: Travel and lodging provided; malpractice insurance covered by the vendor Skills and Procedures Required: Expertise in general radiology, including ER, inpatient, and outpatient reads Experience with advanced imaging techniques, such as: CT Angiography Mammography (MQSA certification preferred but not required) Special Procedures (arthrogram, hysterosalpingogram, pain management injections) Ultrasound-guided biopsies and drainage procedures Ability to interpret neuro and MSK imaging studies This locum tenens role offers an excellent opportunity to provide quality radiologic care to a broad patient base in a scenic region of Utah.
