Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position covering Post-Partum and Baby Units, requiring a VT or compact RN license and at least 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Units within a Critical Access Hospital
- Night shift assignment
- Responsibilities include patient care in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum
- Requires flexibility to float to other units as needed
- Care for overflow patients from the Progressive Care Unit may be required
- 13-week contract
- Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required
- Team may care for a variety of patients including overflow from progressive care
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Minimum 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to float to other units as needed
