Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Orange, TX
Pay Range: $17
Shift:
- Monday - Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
What's the Job?
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or clamp forklifts to move materials in and out of warehouse racks, trailers, or staging areas
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts and other industrial equipment
- Ensure all shipments are handled accurately and damage-free
- Scan, label, and inventory goods using handheld RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Perform order picking and staging for outbound shipments based on customer orders or internal work orders
What's Needed?
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Experience operating various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, clamp)
- Strong attention to safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Good organizational skills for inventory management and staging
- Ability to perform daily safety inspections and report maintenance needs
