About the Position:
A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or PA is needed to join a well-established community health center in Brooklyn, NY.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 9am 5pm
Rotating Saturdays at designated locations
Evening clinic on Thursdays (11am 7pm) once or twice per month as needed
Overnight call every 3 months
Patient Volume & Scope:
patients per day
Newborns included (with hands-on training provided by the supervising MD if needed)
Collaborative environment with 1 MD and 2 3 NPs
Open to new graduates (with adjusted starting salary)
Clinical Environment:
EMR: EClinicalWorks
Primary site located in central Brooklyn, with rotations to additional locations as needed
Main assignment begins at the Fulton Street site; possible rotations later to the Sterling Place location
Education & Experience Requirements:
Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and Board Certification through the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) or the American Nursing Association (ANA)
Valid New York State RN license and registration issued by the NYSED
Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
Current DEA license (if required for specialty)
Depending on specialty, ACLS, NALS, PALS, or PEARS certification may also be required
