Work in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab supporting interventional and heart failure procedures. Cardiovascular Technologist I; variable days shift in Gainesville; full-time clinical role circulating, scrubbing and recording adult diagnostic/interventional cath lab procedures; operates cath lab imaging/equipment. Permanent hospital position. - AS degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology - Credentialed RCIS (CCI) OR ARRT registration in CI, VI or R (CI preferred) - Experience with adult interventional/diagnostic cath lab procedures - Ability to operate cath lab imaging systems and clinical software - Effective communication and teamwork in OR/ICU environments

Overview:

Provides appropriate patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program.

or

AS Degree from accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is the preferred registration.
