The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging using general radiographic equipment under radiologist supervision, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. This role requires certification, relevant technical skills including digital imaging and PACS operation, and provides care to patients across all age groups. The position offers competitive shift differentials and works primarily during weekend shifts in a hospital setting.
COMPETITIVE SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS
- $4.25 - 2nd Shift
- $8.00 - 3rd Shift
- $4.75 - Weekend
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technology program
Minimum Work Experience
- Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience
- Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience
- Portable and in department fluoroscopy procedures
- Operating Room procedures
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Current state R.T. license required.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
- Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure.
- ARRT Certified
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
- Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
Pay Range = $30.18 - $44.61
