The freestanding emergency department (FSED) handles approximately 70 patients per day. Both facilities are well-supported with a dedicated team of nursing and support staff. The main facility has a higher acuity patient mix, with approximately 25% of patients requiring admission and 40% of physician-seen patients being admitted. The FSED primarily handles lower acuity cases, with an admission rate of approximately 5%. Ideal Candidate: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
