The Production FE/BE Auto System Technician operates and maintains front-end automated manufacturing systems, ensuring machine cleanliness, troubleshooting faults, and maintaining production line efficiency. They collaborate with team members to meet production demands while adhering to safety, quality, and standard operating procedures. The role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Production Operator (FE Auto System) is responsible for front end automated system processes including cleaning and troubleshooting of basic machine faults. Keeps lines stocked with material needed to run production. Ensures appropriate material handling procedures are being used and followed. Ability to work quickly to maintain high production levels and know when to escalate problems within their area to line supervisors. Performs assigned job functions while maintaining high standards in the areas of safety, quality and production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components.
• Work with material and team coordinators, operators and techs concerning any special
needs or request.
• Ensure line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands.
• Quickly address machine faults and alarms and resolve them quickly.
• Report any issues requiring a technician to the line supervisor.
• Produce products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.
• Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment.
• Help other operators during breaktimes and flexibility to cover other work areas.
• Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in fast pace environment.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing process
• Able to cope with pressure and be a team player
• Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
• Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
• Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours
