RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 3 shifts per week with every other weekend commitment
• Patient ratio of 3 to 4 patients per nurse
• Primary nursing model with no unit secretaries or patient care technicians
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• PCU/IMC experience required
• Must be experienced with management of drips and ventilators
• Work with in-room built-in vital sign monitoring, centralized telemetry monitoring, vents, BiPAP, Hoyer lifts, cardiac chairs, Sara Steady, doppler, bladder scanner, and US guided IV machines
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Perform procedures including chest tubes, central lines, minor urologic procedures, and emergency intubations
• Follow bedside shift reporting protocols and AIDET communication framework
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs with no artificial nail polish
• Floating policy applies to travelers as first to float per collective bargaining agreement
• Work on 48-bed unit in South Tower location
