This position seeks a Board-Certified Radiologist to provide remote teleradiology services, covering emergency department imaging cases including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films. The role offers flexible scheduling with weekday and weekend shifts, leveraging AI-assisted PACS technology and requiring an active Missouri medical license. The 26-week locum contract starting January 2026 includes full-time or part-time options, competitive compensation, and comprehensive malpractice insurance.
We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to provide remote locum services for a high-volume imaging practice. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexible scheduling, remote work, and consistent weekday and weekend coverage. Coverage is needed beginning January 2026 for a 26-week contract with potential for ongoing placement.
Job Details
Setting: Remote teleradiology supporting emergency department coverage
Schedule: Weekdays, 3:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. CST; weekends require 24-hour coverage (day, swing, and night shifts available)
Coverage: Scheduled shifts only; no call required
Shift Commitment: Full-time coverage preferred; part-time and weekend-only options considered
Support Services: Dedicated IT team for workstation setup; AI-assisted PACS integration launching soon
Patient Volume: Must be able to read a minimum of 10 RVUs/hour; typical RVUs per 8-hour shift
Patient Population: All ages
Modalities: CT, MRI, ultrasound (50%) and plain films (50%)
Systems: Konica Minolta EXA PACS with Fluency Direct dictation
Requirements
Board Certification: Required in Radiology
License: Active Missouri license required; IMLC eligibility considered
Certifications: DEA required
Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training; new grads welcome
Workstation: Must have own workstation
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately days; temporary privileges available to expedite start
Additional Notes: Interview process includes name clear and phone screen; 3 references required; providers must supply study counts for the past 24 months
