Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
- BSN is mandatory.
- Travel experience with at least one completed contract assignment is required.
- High volume/fast pace experience preferred.
- New Jersey License or Compact License required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are necessary. Pending certifications or expired certifications within 30 days of submission are not accepted.
