• DEA: Active DEA certification (NY-specific)
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (AHA)
• Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Must complete onboarding requirements including documentation (PPD, flu, diplomas, certificates, CME, case logs, etc.)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency department coverage for adult patients
• Manage 35 patients per day in a 13K annual volume ED
• Collaborate with nursing staff, support team, and physicians as needed
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR
• Participate in facility orientation and adhere to all compliance requirements
