Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirements include at least 2 weekends in 8-week schedule and 1-2 nights during the week
• Weekday call starts at 5:30 PM or 7:00 PM (depending on staffing) and goes until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call is 48 hours from 7:00 AM Saturday until 7:00 AM Monday morning
• Once trained in neuro, call will be split between cardiac and neuro procedures
• Required certifications: ARRT, ACLS, BLS
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Must be proficient in diagnostic right and left heart catheterization
• Perform interventional catheterization procedures including Rotablator and IABP
• Utilize closure devices and interpret/manage dysrhythmias
• Circulate and scrub for procedures with sterile technique
• Handle sterile procedure and equipment setup
• Work with middle adult to geriatric patient population
• Complete computerized documentation using Epic system
• Daily caseload of 15-30 patients in 5-room facility
• Must be licensed in Kentucky or hold compact license
• Travel candidates must be more than 75 miles from facility
• May float to different units as needed
