Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Neuro IR experience, critical care background, and strong ECG interpretation skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) lab setting
- Shift is 7:30 am to 6:00 pm for 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- On-call rotation required, typically 3 times per week, with a 1-hour response time
- Weekend coverage required, approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 shifts per week
- All cases are completed in the lab environment
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Hospital provides maroon scrubs
- 1-week orientation provided
- Duties include neuro interventional radiology procedures and patient monitoring
- Expect to work with a collaborative core staff team
- Holiday coverage is required including one major and one minor holiday
- First-time travelers may be eligible for this assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license from VA or Compact state required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must have Neuro IR experience and critical care background
- Proficiency in starting IVs required
- Must be able to read and interpret ECG strips and lethal rhythms
- Must pass an ECG exam prior to consideration
