Job Description

The RN will provide direct care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum women with medically or obstetrically complicated pregnancies. This role involves collaboration with physicians, nurse midwives, and social workers to ensure the highest quality care for the high-risk patient population. Excellent communication skills, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the flexibility to float among various units within the OB service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Prioritize and address patient needs effectively.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt to varying levels of volume and acuity across OB units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License (New York)
• Two years of nursing experience required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification
• Telemetry experience required
