This locum tenens position requires a Board Certified General Surgeon to provide inpatient call coverage in Smithfield, North Carolina. Responsibilities include performing various surgical procedures such as hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, endoscopy, and bowel surgeries during 24-hour shifts. Candidates should have a clean background with no recent or open malpractice cases and experience with the Meditech 6.1 EMR system is preferred.
