Job Details- Position: Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
- Facility: Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
- Location: 736 Battlefield Blvd N, Chesapeake, VA 23320
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (possible extension)
- Start Date: 01/19/2026
Schedule- Shift Options:
- Day 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Day 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours/week (some days may exceed 8 hours; overtime likely)
- On-Call: Required – rotating call approximately 12 days/month, including some weekends
- Holidays: Facility expects coverage; no holiday RTO approved
Requirements- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (required)
- Certifications (Required):
- BLS
- ACLS
- Current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES
- Education: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program
- Important:ARRT candidates will NOT be considered
- License: Valid Virginia or Compact License in hand at submission
- Background:No license or background hits accepted (strict requirement)
- Fit Testing: Must pass standard fit testing (PAPR not accommodated)
Unit & Work Details- Cardiac Cath Lab – minimally invasive cardiac procedures
- Full-service electrophysiology
- May float to other CV departments (EP, Cath, Cath Holding)
Compliance Notes- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Qualivis Submission Form and current NURSYS report required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
