Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology clinic position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and Epic experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a GU/Uro Oncology outpatient clinic within a teaching hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
- Uses Epic charting system with prior experience required
- Direct patient care in the GU/Uro Oncology clinic including coordination and support of oncology treatments
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting as part of credentialing process upon contract signing
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Maximum allowed requested time off is 7 days, which must be included with initial request
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Former employees must have a 6-month break before eligibility for a travel assignment
- Current employees at Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible for traveler positions
- Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Epic EMR charting experience required
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or director
