Our job summary

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) administers various types of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, obstetrical, or medical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. They conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, collaborate with anesthesiologists to develop anesthesia care plans, and provide airway management throughout perioperative phases. This role requires board certification, relevant licensure, at least two years of CRNA experience, and work primarily in ambulatory surgery centers with varied shifts and on-call duties.

Job Description:

Must be Board Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.- Board Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
Outpatient position at an Ambulatory Surgery Center
Varied day shifts + On call
Minimal call
Varied weekend shifts
Average number of patients: Varies
Administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Potentially administers anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.
Conducts appropriate pre-anesthetic assessments, and document findings.
In collaboration with the anesthesiologist, determines the appropriate anesthetic plan of management, manages all aspects of anesthesia care to include preoperative, perioperative, and immediate postoperative care.
Maintains complete and accurate documentation of care for all procedures.
Provides airway management and/or intubations for emergent, non-emergent, and resuscitation situations throughout the hospital.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Provider must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites when necessary
Not accepting new graduates. At least 2 years CRNA work experience (not including RN or training) is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: $238,368 ($114.60/hour)

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) - REQUIRED
Active MI licenses - Nursing and Specialty License (must have in-hand) - REQUIRED (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
