About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Hospitalist NP in New York!

We are seeking Hospitalist Nurse Practitioners for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role involves flexible 12-hour shifts, with both day and night coverage as needed by the hospital. Providers will support inpatient medicine admissions and manage a wide range of medical issues.

Job Details

• Location: New York
• Start Date: Jan 2, 2026
• LOA: 10 days
• Provider Type Needed: Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner
• Schedule: Two providers for 7am-7pm shifts and one provider for 7pm-7am shifts; providers must be flexible as scheduling will depend on coverage gaps

Responsibilities and Duties

• Admit and manage inpatient medicine cases
• Address all medical issues presenting during assigned shifts
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Adapt to changing shift assignments and departmental needs

Additional Information

• Active New York license required
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
• Flexibility in shift assignment is non-negotiable
