Practice Details:

• Board Certification:
  • Must be board eligible in General Surgery
• Fellowship:
  • Preferred
• License Requirement:
  • Must be licensed in NC
• Credentialing Timeframe:
  • Estimated 30 days
• Hospital Privileges:
  • Required
• Temporary Privileges:
  • Available
• On-Call Duties:
  • On-call with call-back obligations
  • 2-4 hours per day of rounding, remaining hours on-call
• Support Structure:
  • Hospital staff only, solo on-call

Preferred Experience:

• General Surgery:
  • Experience in inpatient settings
• Surgical Procedures:
  • Appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, chest wall/pleural procedures, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
• Patient Demographics:
  • Adult and pediatric patients
