Compensation: $28-30/ Flat rate hour unless hours exceed
How do our Clear Shield Applicators drive impact?
Job Duties (Will Include but Not Be Limited To)
- Wash vehicles
- Use an alcohol base product to wipe and prepare the vehicle for clear-shield application
- Apply clear shield product to vehicles
- Assist with appearance package applications as necessary
- Assist with maintaining clear-shield inventory control
- Assist with performing quality control inspections on all completed vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop area
- Participate in daily shop huddles
- Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values.
- All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have attention to detail
- Minimum 3-5 years of Paint protection film experience
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Previous Auto Detail, Inspection or Auto Body work experience helpful
- Must have a valid MN Driver’s License
- Must be at least 18 yrs of age
Physical Demands
- Moving and walking around the Walser Auto Shield shop area
- Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting
- Utilizing a computer for day-to-day tasks
- Certain areas of the Walser Auto Shield environmental demands may include noise, vibration, paint, dust, exhaust fumes, other hazardous and non-hazardous materials, extreme heat and/or cold
- Must always wear safety eyewear when in the shop area
- Using equipment consistent with industry standards
- Lifting to 40 pounds
