We are seeking an experienced General Surgery Physician Assistant for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts, covering both days and nights as scheduled to meet patient care needs in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties- Perform surgical first assist duties, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, colectomy, and small bowel resection
- Respond to changing shift assignments, transitioning between day and night shifts as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to provide patient care in a dynamic hospital environment
Additional Information- New York state license required
- Board certification in General Surgery required
- Prior experience in emergency room settings required
- Flexibility in scheduling is non-negotiable
