Job Details:
• Provide nursing care for patients with neurological conditions in a fast-paced environment
• Work in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma facility
• Every other weekend required and holidays per policy
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families regarding care plans and discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff appropriately
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License required
• Current BLS from American Heart Association required
• ACLS from American Heart Association required
• Strong communication skills and ability to respond to cultural and language needs
• Computer skills required
