RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Adult
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Maintain 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Minimum 1 year medical-surgical experience required
• Must be willing to float to other Med-Surg units as necessary
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care through patient assessment and care planning
• Provide care to patients across all age groups including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Perform procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts
• Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
• Interpret and record medical measurements
• Monitor patient vital signs and report adverse medication reactions promptly
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and patient care team members
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards in clinical setting
