Job DescriptionThe Inpatient Rehab Nurse will provide care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, focusing on helping patients achieve functional independence. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiatrists, physician assistants, and neuropsychologists.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, including IVs, as well as manage PICC and PEG tube administration.
- Perform bladder scans, trach care, tube feeding, Foley catheter management, bladder irrigation, and blood administration.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans and ensure achievement of patient goals.
- Must have Med/Surg or PCU experience.
- Current BLS certification and Virginia nursing license required.
- Rehab experience is preferred.
