Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University is seeking a full time AP/CP Pathologist; NYS COQ strongly desired.

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. Job Description & Responsibilities

Replace a retiring member of an established group of five pathologists covering the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology needs of the entire integrated network
Primary duties are anatomic pathology sign-out.
General practice including minor teaching responsibilities and directorship of outlying network laboratory
Approximately 20,000 surgical cases and 10,000 Cytopathology cases (2,000 non-gyn) examined annually with the support of Pathologist s Assistants and Cytotechnologists
Annual Salary: $375,000. This compensation represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000
